Are You Under the Age of 21? Important information...

We offer two classes for motorcycle riders- the BasicRider Course (BRC) and The ExperiencedRider Course (ERC)...

The motorcycle practical exam given by the DMV may be waived with this certification. Graduates may also qualify for insurance premium discounts with some motorcycle insurers. For Military Personnel: the MSF Course Completion wallet card meets military base requirements.

Class Registrations

Thank you for your support of motorcycle safety in Southern California. Before we can accept your registration, have you completed the following steps?

  1. You have decided which class you want to attend-
  2. You have determined a schedule that works for you. Click here for a schedules of upcoming classes.
  3. You have read the below registration policies.

I have completed the above steps and I am ready to register.

Registration Policies
All attendees must be pre-registered with the Pacific Safety Council. Walk-in attendees will not be accepted in class.

**Students paying by CASH or CHECK must come to our office and pay with the exact amount. If payment is not received by our office by close of business on the same day of registration, the student will be dropped from our system. Registrations are accepted Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

Attendance: You must attend ALL class sessions in the order in which they are offered. For liability reasons, a student may not continue on to the next class session if he/she does not successfully complete the previous class session. If a student fails to show up for any portion of the course he/she will be dropped from the entire course and cannot receive a refund or be rescheduled into another course. Absolutely No Exceptions.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or Requests to reschedule must be received by our office five working days prior to the first class session. Requests that fall within 5 business days before the first class or anytime after will forfeit their registration fee. Pacific Safety Council business hours are Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm.

Rescheduling Policy: An additional $25 processing fee is obtained for attendees that wish to reschedule their class prior to the Cancellation Deadline.

Refund Policy: Any refund issued by the Pacific Safety Council is automatically subject to a $25 processing fee. Refunds cannot be issued once a class has started.

Failure to Complete: The rider coaches are required to ensure the safety of all students. Unsafe conditions will not be allowed and the rider coaches will drop any student who, in the opinion of the rider coach, presents a safety hazard to themselves or to others, or who repeatedly fails to respond to the rider coach's coaching. Refunds or reschedules will not be given to a student that drops them self from a course.

Late Attendees: The rider coaches are required to teach the material in a specific order within the times allotted for each of the classes. We ask that all attendees show up to each of the classes at least 15-30 minutes prior. The seats are limited and we do not make exceptions for tardiness. Should you show up late to any one of the sessions, you will be dropped from the entire course and cannot receive a refund or be rescheduled into another course. Absolutely No Exceptions.

Riding Attire: Failure to wear the appropriate riding attire will result in a drop from the current class and the student will have to go on “stand-by” on their own time for future class dates.

I have read and understand the above policies completely including the refund policy, and what happens if I am late to a class.

BRC Course Fees
